So, Ciara and I have decided to move to California. We terminated our lease and we're starting to pack our bags to head west. One more month in this city and we'll be saying goodbye to our lives of the past four years.
I wanted to create a blog to document our journey out there and while we were there, since it will be awhile before we see any of our friends again. Hopefully, you can all glimpse into our life out there and what we don't get to say in phone conversations.
It's definitely a bittersweet feeling leaving all we know behind us. We are leaving the comfort of jobs, an apartment we've come to call home and many friends and family members. We won't be able to just hang out whenever we want with everyone anymore... :(
I think that this is going to be good for both of us. We were both struggling with what God wanted us to do with our lives and although this may not be it, we both feel very confident that this isn't the wrong thing to do. haha. It's risky and scary as anything, but I know we will have fun.
